TEST English School Kampung Inggris Kediri - What do people need for living in other countries? What should they prepare to work abroad? And obviously, what is the most important requirement to get scholarship and study overseas? the one and only thing to answer for these question is definitely English language proficiency, which measures and proves the ability in using English language. It is undeniable that either to study or to work abroad requires English language proficiency to assure that they can survive and succeed in passing all of the assignments due to work or study. TEST-English School provides four main programs, which are TEST-University, Homeschooling, Preschool, and Afterschool. For each program, duration and purpose of study remain the difference among them. In addition, TEST-English School has three domain classes, which are Foundation as the basic level of English, Integrated as the intermediate level of English, and Established as the advance level of English focusing on the preparation of TOEFL and IELTS test. Especially for Homeschooling and Test University, students are obligated to accomplish their study by micro teaching and writing essay.
Curriculum of Test University, which is set up for students who have long time available is quite different from other programs. Providing 1000 credits branch of cultural studies, students should finish their study for seven months, one semester for each month, started from basic user level to internship program. Regarding to the curriculum that includes preparation of English proficiency test and job interview, Test University embraces students who really start from beginner to study English, and furthermore are expected to be advance user. Different from Test University, as the most priority program, Homeschooling is a course which offers 3-4 months study, started from Foundation, Integrated, Established, and finished by micro teaching or writing essay. By micro teaching, students will experience not only skills about how to teach but also knowledge that will come from interaction with students, commonly called “learning by doing”. The atmosphere of study in Homeschooling program strongly remains a pressure that will encourage students to keep the ball rolling to study intellectually. Accordingly, Homeschooling will engage all members who begin to study English by assigning six classes for a day, from Monday to Friday. Started by memorizing class at 05.30 a.m., students continue to study in the next classes - conversation, drilling, writing, speaking – closed by multimedia class at 06.30 p.m. – 09.00 p.m.. In addition, every Saturday, examination will be held to review and to monitor the progress of students. Impressively, students are also obligated to follow extracurricular classes, one of them is to create a parody video in English. To answer the demand of short courses, TEST English school set up two programs which are Preschool and Afterschool. In Preschool program, students will study for two months, directly entering integrated level in the first month and established in the second month. Therefore, Students who take Preschool program mean that they already have good ability as intermediate user. Additionally, As the part of short course programs, Afterschool will only be held for one month, and students are classified in foundation level. In addition, students will accommodate with the same facilities and services for any program.
In conclusion, Test English School will consistently implement a method of study based on cultural studies that totally answer the necessity of English language proficiency. This would be the one and only course in “kampung inggris”, Pare, Kediri, for all the reason mentioned above.
