TEST - English School | TOEFL Program By Muhammad Nurhidayat - - - Test of English as a foreign language (TOEFL) is examination to measure the ability of someone in English skills. TOEFL is used by students of senior high school and university who want to continue their study. And below I would like to explain about the importance, purposes and benefits by learning TOEFL which can be useful for my students in classroom.
Firstly, if someone has made the decision to choose TOEFL for academic purposes, their TOEFL will be indicator of their linguistic proficiency. How do they get prepare for TOEFL test? They should be aware of the fact that there is no easy manner to get high score in TOEFL. They need to study hard, such as reading, listening and learning of grammar. Therefore, why TOEFL become important things for them who want to continue their study and get a job.
Secondly, when someone already knew the importance of TOEFL, moreover they have to know what the purpose to learn TOEFL. There are two purposes to take TOEFL examination. These are for academic and general purpose. Usually people who want to continue to get master’s degree need 500 until 550 for TOEFL score and people who take TOEFL for working need about 500 TOEFL score.
Thirdly, after knowing about the importance and purpose to take TOEFL exam, then people will talk what the benefit which they can get from it. There are some benefits from TOEFL, for example when you learn TOEFL automatically you will learn listening, grammar structure, and reading because these are the parts of TOEFL and it will improve their English skills and it will be useful for their future. According to my proficiency in Structure Section I have ability which can help my students to answer the question correctly, in the class I give some ways to manage their time because there are only 25 minutes to answer 40 questions. Then, here I am my function as an Instructor of structure to give problem solving to my students to get the highest score in section 2 TOEFL.
In conclusion, TOEFL is very needed by people in this time and it will give many advantages for the people. Starting from now people should prepare themselves to learn TOEFL for the great future especially for studying abroad and getting job.
